The email i received from turbo tax says my taxes could not be filed because i missed one thing, that was my 2017 w2 & information from last year to “confirm my identity”. When i login over

You can disregard that email if your returns are e-filed, and showing as ''pending'' or ''accepted''.  You will only need to update information if your return shows as rejected.

If you have not filed yet, you may disregard the email and file as normal.
