The child and dependent care credit is a non-refundable credit. It can only be used to reduce your tax bill. If you have no tax liability, you will not get a refund.

The child and dependent care credit is a non-refundable credit. It can only be used to reduce your tax bill. If you have no tax liability, you will not get a refund.
