The acceptance date for my return changed from 2/12/21 to 2/14/21 today. Is that normal?

My original estimated refund date was 3/5/21, but I noticed that it changed to 3/7/21, it also shows that my refund acceptance date changed.  This change happened today (3/5/21).  Is that normal?

May I ask are you checking this in your TurboTax account or the Where's My Refund? site?

Both actually.  Since this post, the information on turbo Tax has gone back to the 12th, and the info on WMR has now gone to the same that many others are seeing.  The bars have disappeared and it says that my refund is still being processed and a date will be sent when its available.  I guess I got caught up in the child tax credit crowd.

TurboTax only provides an estimated refund date based on the average amount of time it has taken other taxpayers to receive their refunds. Once your returns are transmitted to the IRS and accepted, TurboTax no longer receives updates. 

Most refunds are received within 21 days from the time a return has been accepted (received). The IRS Where's My Refund? site is updated daily usually in the evening hours. You can also call the WMR Hotline at 800-829-1954 for updated status.
