I submitted my return on Friday but wasn't asked to provide the documentation (w2's , 1099, etc) that I used to formulate my return online. When do I send those in?

If you e-filed your tax returns, it is not necessary to submit those documents via mail.

thank you! I did e-file. And my W-2 was attached automatically via ADP. But not my husbands income docs or my other 1040 related documents. Should I just hold onto the documents incase they need to audit?

Yes, the IRS recommends retaining your tax records for at least 3 years.
