Submitted Taxes for 2023 but received a 1099-C

I submitted my taxes for the year already and they've both been accepted. I just got a 1099-C form in the mail that I wasn't expecting and says I need to add to my taxable income. Do I have to wait for Feb. 15th to amend or what would be the next steps for this? Any help is appreciated!

You have to wait for the 1040X form.

 As your tax return is accepted, you need to file an amended return to add that form 1099-C.

If you are expecting a refund, we recommend that you wait to amend until after the IRS has processed your original return and you have received your refund.

Please note that the amendment form 1040X will only be available on TurboTax after 2/14/2024.
