State rejected, turbo tax shows as submitted and will not resend

Due to identity theft, I got a federal pin. Turbo tax does not show how to put it in, so I submitted before getting the pin entered. Fed and state rejected, did not see the error code, so thought it was just a glitch so resent, same thing, Saw the error code, had to do a lot of research on how to enter it, finally did. Fed was accepted, state nothing- Checked state site, they did not receive. Turbo tax will not allow me to resend the state, says it was submitted. What do I do!

Some times the state takes a while to be accepted, but it could be held for up to 72 hours also since you had a couple rejects.

The status might be pending for security reasons. This may be a sign that someone is trying to use your identity to file a tax return. This can take up to 72 hours, after which your return will then be forwarded to the IRS, or if applicable, rejected. If rejected, you can then correct the rejection issue and resubmit. Thank you. It was well after the 72 hours, however after I posted, I finally got the message that the state was accepted. Thank you!
