Someone else did our taxes (through turbo tax for 2017 and 2018). we just realized our address was entered incorrectly for both years. how do we get it corrected?

You don't have to correct the address on the actual tax return. Send a change of address to the IRS using Form 8822. That will change your address in the IRS records.

Changing your address with the IRS will not change it for the state. Your state probably has a similar change of address form. Check the tax web site for your state.
