Some friends using TT online will not get a refund. They are finished with 2020 taxes but TT will not let them add a bank acct. so Stimulus money gets deposited.

TT is ready to submit without bank info. They do not want to wait for a paper check again.
Also the online version of TT does not show "forms" like the CD version. Why Not?

The IRS does not allow banking information on a return with no refund.  

The online and cd version have different programing.  You can see a summary of your return but there is not a forms option.

To see a summary of your tax return while in TurboTax do the following: 

  

1. Find the "Tax Tools" option on your left menu bar and click on it 

2. Click on "Tools" 

3. Click on "View Tax Summary"

The Online and CD versions also have different pricing structures that reflect their different functionalities. Online is used primarily for simple returns.

But, if any of your friends are dependents, or qualify to be one, they are not eligible for stimulus payments.
