Should it say pending, why does it say that? How soon can I expect my return in my account?

The IRS will start e-filing on on January 29, 2018, as not all federal forms have been finalized.  They will be finalized by January 29, 2018.

IRS aims to have refunds out to people within 21 days of accepting the tax return (they wont start accepting returns until Jan 29th.  If you have Earned Income Credit or any of the refundable school credits, you wont see your refund until the end of February at the soonest.   

IRS can delay refunds for a variety of reasons, don't spend it until you see it!
