Should I call the IRS my return was due for direct deposit two weeks ago?

It would rare if you could get through to the IRS now.  They are shorted staffed and very busy with returns.

Was that date given by the IRS or was it an estimated date that the TurboTax program suggested?  If the IRS did not give you a deposit date, then you would need to check the IRS website Where's My Refund, for information.
