Should I be worried if my state tax return has been pending for a day, or should I be worried because today is 7/15??

I submitted yesterday (07/14/2020)  I made a mistake in the Fed ID number of my employer and both the state and federal were rejected.  I fixed it and resubmitted last night.  My federal was accepted.  State is still pending.  How do I know that it was actually submitted?  When should I expect it to move to accepted by State of MI?  Please advise.

Not necessarily.

Sometimes it just takes a bit longer to process the return.
