Today is 2/19. I filed yesterday on 2/18. Taxes accepted by Fed but rejected by CO State. TT email says they are making an update 'on or after Mar 2". So I guess I wait.
Just tried to re-efile my CO taxes on 2/25/23. Still got rejection and TT email says I need to wait until 3/10/23 to file again. I suppose TT has not yet updated their desktop version for CO yet. Not happy with TT for this delay.
Is this still in affect for 2024 filing year?
The state of Colorado will not be ready to accept e-filed tax returns until Tuesday, February 11.
If you e-file your Colorado return prior to this, we’ll hold the state return until Colorado is ready to accept returns. At that time, we’ll automatically transmit the state return.
We do not recommend printing and mailing Colorado tax returns; this could cause delays in processing. E-file remains the fastest, more efficient way to file.
Refund processing times after filing is determined by the Colorado Department of Revenue.
