yes or you can wait for the IRS notice. but to avoid penalties and interest the amended return must be filed before 4/15.

Yes, you should amend your return to include Schedule C and Form 1099-NEC for your self-employed work.  

The amended Form 1040X for 2021 has not yet been released, but when it becomes available the TurboTax help article linked below will give you instructions to get started.

In previous tax seasons, Form 1040X has been released around the middle of March. 

The following TurboTax help article shows the current availability for Form 1040X as 'available':

However, the specific instructions for amending 2021 returns have not been updated.  When you go back into your return, look for the option to 'amend' your return and TurboTax should walk you through the process.
