Should Form 8949 mail along with Form 8453 for amending tax return??

I forgot to include one of my 1099B so I amended my tax return. After all steps were finished on turbotax, it showed that I have to mail 8453 to IRS. On my form 8453, 8949 was checked. But all my 1099B were reported on turbotax. In this case, do I need to mail 8949 or 1099B with my 8453? Or just need to mail in the Form 8453?

Additional info.

The first time I filed my tax return it didn't require Form 8453.

Mailing requirement of Form 8453 was just pop out after I did  amended my tax return (e-filing)  to include the missed 1099B (this 1099B had been imported from my financial institution).

What is the Box Category you are reporting? see exception below.

IRS requires details of your SELL transactions to be supplied on some Form 8949,
or on your other forms (e.g. consolidated 1099-B) which have the same information and in the same manner as Form 8949.

Either way, if you choose to summarize only, you have to mail the transaction details to the IRS within three business days of IRS accepting your e-Filed tax return.(unless you have attached a PDF of the transactions details to your e-Filed return. TurboTax seems to be adding this feature now).
Detail Reporting Exception: if you summarize Category A or Category D, Form 8949 is not needed for transactions without adjustments. No mailing is necessary.

If the detail is already on your filed return, there is nothing to mail.

There is no point to mailing the coversheet by itself. That will just annoy the IRS.

Should Form 8949 mail along with Form 8453 for amending tax return??

I'm reporting box A  (summarize, without adjustments) and Box B (all transactions detail listed). In my case turbotax stated my Form 8949 is not needed to mail. However, turbotax told me to mail Form 8453 when I finished filing.

It seems it's a bug of turbotax. I'm justing concerning what would happen if I didn't mail the Form to IRS.

So confusing.

" Box B (all transactions detail listed). "

When all your details are already itemized on your tax return, there is nothing to mail in.

The exception applies only for Box A and Box D.

Form 8453 is the IRS Income Tax Transmittal form that is used when submitting a paper return to the IRS.   The checked boxes on that form notify the IRS what documents a taxpayer has included with their tax return.

If the cost basis on the missing transactions was already reported to the IRS (a covered transaction), then Form 8949 is not required.  However, there is no harm in sending it.  It may be more prudent to include it with your amended return even though it may not be required.  However, before including Form 8949 with your amended return, review it to ensure that the missing transactions have been entered on Form 8949.
