This is the first time I have ever had a third party process my tax refund and I believe it is a scam. I paid all fees when I efiled and did not agree to have a third party send my refund. This is a scam and I am concerned that they now have my bank account information. I will be watching my accounts closely and if I have any further problems, I will be contacting our local police and reporting fraud against the above referenced company.
Shame on you Intuit Turbotax for your shady ways of ripping off your customer. I won't be using you in the future. I tried to send an email message to the company and was not able to. I would like my $66.50 refunded to me.

For some reason you chose to have TurboTax fees paid from your federal tax refund instead of paying them with a credit card, as shown on the screen where you had to make the selection -
In the Forms section you can see disclosure and your agreement to use the Refund Processing Service (RPS). When in Forms mode click on RPS Disclosure at the top of the forms listing on the left side of the screen and your agreement at the bottom of the list Ref Proc Agmt1.
I'm right with you, Cheryl. Very misleading process in the step-by-step. I've been using TurboTax at least 20 years and just feel this was so sneaky and underhanded. Now another entity has hold of my SSN. Is this new having to pay to get our refund? Even if I chose to pay by credit card, what exactly am I paying for? So, basically, we pay for the software, the efile (with one state is included for premier) but we have to pay to get our refund? I was getting $25 back from NC, but that is wiped out by the $25 fee.
@kenw2 You already paid for the software. What the payment is for in this instance is the state e-file charge of $25. The state e-file has had e-file charge for at least the last twenty years when using the desktop editions, so this is not new. To avoid this state e-file fee you can print and mail the state tax return.
