Sale date on 1099-b from broker is incorrect - reported as short term basis not reported to IRS should be long term how to I show this

You just need to adjust the cost basis for the transaction(s) in the program. To do so,

Type "1099-B" in the search box.
Click on "Jump to 1099-B"
Click "Edit" next to the 1099-B you need to edit
Click on "Edit" next to the transaction you need to edit
Adjust the sales price and change the Sale Category to "Box E - Long term non-covered"
Repeat if necessary for other transactions
