To confirm that your return has indeed been accepted please use our e-file status lookup tool. 

• Once accepted, the IRS takes over the status updates at the IRS Where's My Refund? website.

• Sometimes, your federal refund can take longer than 3 weeks to process. (See the FAQ below for reasons why this may occur). An IRS representative will be able to research the status of your refund (if your return was accepted more than 21 calendar days ago.) Call them at 1-800-829-1040.
