Refund was sent to my account on March 4 and I can there was nothing in my account

Can someone please explain why did federal sent my taxes on March 4 and I still haven’t received it

Your refund could be offset.

The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.
