I stated that I received $2400 for 2021's Economic Impact Payments, but I just got a letter stating that I only got $1400. Is there anything I can do to correct this mistake?

If you have already filed the 2021 federal tax return the IRS knows the amount of stimulus payment that was sent to you. The IRS will adjust your 2021 tax return accordingly. However, this will delay any tax refund you will be receiving by several weeks or possibly months. Or if the change results in you having taxes owed the IRS will send you a bill in the mail requesting payment.
Thanks for the quick reply! I don't think I'll owe anything, but it's unfortunate that I filed too quickly and will have to wait longer. Lesson learned!

You have electronically filed your 2021 Federal tax return and the IRS has accepted the tax return. If the IRS has reduced your refund, their communication may not be helpful.
If you did not receive for the third stimulus payment, the IRS may think that you were already issued the third stimulus payment.
At your IRS online account, you can find whether a payment was issued to you that you did not receive. You can also find this information on your tax transcript.
