Okay so this is my second year ever filing taxes. I filed them on March 18th, they were accepted the same morning and now today March 28th I checked the Where's My Refund site and seen it's been approved (only my federal taxes so far) and that my direct deposit date was for April 1st. I got my Turbo Tax card in the mail last week and I have that set up to receive the refund. I'm wondering if anyone has ever gotten their 2019/2020 tax return earlier than the direct deposit date in their Turbo Tax card? I've read about people receiving them a day earlier, on the date given and some people days after. It's not a big refund, it's only $300 and it was for income tax/regular tax return, no ETIC or whatever it's called. Just a standard refund. Wednesday/the 1st (it's Satuday now) still seems like a long time away smh. But how many people actually receive their refunds a day before or on the given date? How many people are still waiting days after the date? Since it's a Turbo Tax card created for taxes, will the bank still hold it for days and days to clear it or will it be automatic? I did the free Turbo Tax so they aren't taking any fees out or anything. Just wondering about people's experiences this year because I want this refund already and I really really don't want to wait days or weeks after the date and if getting it the day before is common for people then that's great. What are your experiences with getting your standard income tax refunds this tax season with the card? Thanks for your input
