I received a letter from the Oregon department of revenue stating that I owe tax for year 2014 with the amount of $1118.87 ($1011.00 + penalty + interest). However, having checked my Turbotax pdf printout for year 2014, my Oregon state taxes were $1011 (row 58) with $1381 (row 59) exemption credit. In addition, I did not receive the extra exempt amount ($370 row 66) that was supposed to be refunded by Oregon to me. I was wondering what has gone wrong with my state returns with Oregon? Supposedly I have successfully filed my state returns for 2014, so could you guys help me with this issue? Thank you.

You need to contact the Oregon Department of Revenue first. It's possible that they are in error. If not, you need to determine why what they are allowing is different than what you filed. There is no way for TurboTax to determine this. If after talking to Oregon Department of Revenue, you have questions or think that the program made a calculation error, then call us a call. To start the process and make sure your call get routed properly, click on Contact Us.
