my refund was 1000$ lower than calculated from TurboTax Deluxe.
Is this normal? What should I do?
I don't have any detail of what the IRS did.
Thanks!

Federal and state come separately.
Do you have an amount on line 30? A common adjustment is if you claimed the Recovery rebate credit on 1040 line 30 when you already got the Stimulus payment or got the second one after you filed or reported the wrong amounts or entered the wrong amounts in the 2 boxes. If you entered the total you got for both rounds in the same box it would think you didn't get the other one. The IRS knows how much they already sent you. You might have tried to claim it again on line 30.
That is unfortunately not my case. I have not received any stimulus, so I claimed all of them.
Have you filed yet? What amount do you have on line 30 of your Form 1040? If you have not received any stimulus but qualify, you should have claimed on your tax return hence there should be an amount on line 30.
To claim the stimulus payment, here are the steps:
In the TurboTax Online program,
If you have already filed, you might need to amend your return. Continue to read:
If you have already submitted your tax return, you will have to wait until the IRS either accepts or rejects your return. You cannot return to the program to make any changes before that.
If your return got rejected for whatever reasons, you can return to the program to reclaim your stimulus along with other changes. You do not need an amendment 1040-X. See steps above.
If your return has been accepted, you will have to amend your return by filing a form 1040X. You should not try to amend your return until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund or your payment has cleared.
Beginning with the 2019 tax year, you can e-file amended tax returns. If you used TurboTax to prepare Form 1040-X, follow the software's instructions to e-file the amendment.
