When will people in California receive the convid 19 stimulus check

it is not going to be done geographically,

If the IRS has your banking information, those are supposed to go out by April 17th (if you don't file but are on social security, those are supposed to go out by the end of April)

if you are expecting a check, then it'll be in 'income order"... lowest incomes (<$10k) are supposed to go out the week of April 24,  incomes under $20k would go out the week of May 1, etc.

Unknown ... there is no information on that situation available and the only place to get it is not answering the phones.   When the portal opens on Friday you may get an answer : https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments
