When to expected refund advance after federal approval

@EbonyA  how long does it take for Turbo to get notice that return is accepted.  Wmr indicates received but turbo still pending.

The IRS will begin processing returns on January 27th. The returns are processed individually and at different times. There is no way for TurboTax to know what day your return will get accepted once the IRS begins processing returns. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for more information on your pending status:

No I understand that. What I'm asking is how does turbo get notified because my return was accepted. But turbo seems to not know. When I filed through turbo I assumed automatically notified once accepted.

Once the IRS accepts your return they take over the processing right up until it is finished. That is why the status within TurboTax can be different.

So this means I will not receive a verification email from turbo like previous years that my return has been accepted? That's where I'm getting at.

Yes, you will get an email saying whether your return is accepted or rejected. It may be delayed due the mad rush to file today, but generally they will notify you within 24-48 hours.

You will receive your Refund Advance virtual card info within 1 hour of the IRS accepting your e-filed return, by email. The funds will be loaded on to the card within 48 hours. Any balance of your tax refund remaining will be sent to you after the IRS has accepted and processed your tax return, usually within 21 days. You’ll be able to start spending online with your card information after setting up your Turbo Card account.

Also, a physical Turbo Card will be mailed to you within 5 to 10 business days. The remainder of your refund (minus the Refund Advance amount and any TurboTax fees) will be loaded onto the card when the IRS or state tax authorities distribute your refund (typically within 21 days from IRS acceptance).
