You can delete the dependent in My Info.

You have the option to say no, or edit, or delete them  if they are no longer a dependent.

Another thing--make sure that your former dependent KNOWS that you are not going to claim him/her on your tax return so that when the person prepares a tax return of their own he can answer correctly when asked if he can be claimed as a dependent.
