It depends.

Did you use TurboTax to prepare your tax return for 2018?

If so, you can log back into your account, and print out a copy of your 2018 tax return to mail in to the IRS.

Printing a prior year return

If you did not use TurboTax, you can contact your employer to request a replacement copy of your W-2 for 2018. 

If you are unsuccessful there, you can always refer to the following information on the IRS website to obtain your W-2 forms.

You will need to download the 2018 software to prepare your 2018 tax return. 

It cannot be done using the online software.
