The IRS usually releases refunds 21 days from the accepted date. There are two ways to track your refund which you can begin doing 24 hours after you receive the accepted status.

  1. IRS website for federal refund: www.IRS.gov/refunds
  2. TurboTax Track Your Refund: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
You will need to use a different tracker to track your state refunds. https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund

It could be for several factors. One reason is taxpayers who claimed the Earn Income Tax Credit and/or the Additional Child Tax Credit may experience a delay due to the implementation of the PATH Act. According to the IRS, EITC/ACTC recipients can expect funds by the first week of March if they chose direct deposit and there are no issues with their tax return. For more info, please visit this IRS page. Also, please see this related TurboTax FAQ, Some 2019 federal refunds are delayed due to the PATH Act

Once you click on the big orange Transmit Return button, your return has been submitted to the IRS. When you check your e-file status, it should show a status, if not then it was not submitted. If you are still having issues submitting, you can also try clearing your cache and cookies. Then reboot and log back in.
