Tracking payment to state

I submitted my taxes (both Federal and state) through TurboTax on March 26, 2018. I owe money to state and selected the TurboTax option to pay through their website. I selected that the money should be paid immediately. As of this date (3/30/2018) the money has not left my bank account.  What is the likely problem?

It could be because your state has not processed your return yet. Have you checked the status of your return on the state's website? Choose your state here How do I track my state refund? and it will give you steps to track the status. 

Generally, the funds are withdrawn on the payment date you specified if your return has been accepted and is being processed. Sometimes, it may take a couple more days on their end. If you still don't see the debit 7-10 days after your return has been accepted and it's already being processed, you can contact your state tax agency. You can go here How do I contact my state Department of Revenue? and choose your state and it will take you to their contact page with phone numbers to reach them.
