I filed my taxes back in January of 2020 I filed both 2018 and 2019 together. I got a letter from the IRS staying I had to verify my identity. I have tried everything on the online tool to no avail. I couldn't get in touch over the phone even before the pandemic so I haven't been able to verify my identity therefore have not received my tax refund. Will they then keep my stimlus deposit from me because of the identity thing? They have my correct banking info. Anyone that could help would be Greatly appreciated.

it's hard to say what they will do. You messed up by combining income from two different years on the same tax return--that is why you are having this problem. Each tax year should have been filed separately using the forms and software for the specific tax year.
Since 2018 should not have been on that return at all, you could try preparing 2018 correctly using 2018 software and mailing it in so that they have a filed return for you. Sometime later you will end up having to amend the incorrect return you file earlier this year--but wait until you see what the IRS says about it. Under the current conditions that will probably take time.
Online preparation and e-filing for 2018 is permanently closed.
To file a return for a prior tax year
If you need to prepare a return for 2016, 2017, or 2018 you can purchase and download desktop software to do it, then print, sign, and mail the return(s)

Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Note: The desktop software you need to prepare the prior year return must be installed/downloaded to a full PC or Mac. It cannot be used on a mobile device.
If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.
