Should I amend this years taxes?

I forgot some office supply deductions and one another mortgage interest on one of my rental properties??

Is it worth it to Amend? Also does anyone know what the cost is to Amend?

If you did not need to upgrade, then there should be no charge to amend. Just re-enter your return.

if you are asking the question , it is probably not worthwhile.

Don't use up your one 1040-X e-File. you may need it later.

You have three years to decide if you really want that deduction.

You can amend e-filed returns if they've been accepted; paper-filed returns may be amended once they've been mailed.   There is no charge unless you have to upgrade.

If your e-file is still pending, you won't be able to make changes until the IRS either accepts or rejects it.   Don't know your e-file status? Here's how to look it up.

Select your tax year for amending instructions:

Keep in mind: You have 3 years from the date you filed your return or 2 years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment.
