Payment account closed after filing from ID theft

I had to freeze a bank account due to identity theft and it was the same account given when I e-filed to pay my Federal Tax.  The bank did not show that the payment was withdrawn from the account before I had to froze it.  I indicated the funds to be withdrawn on April 10th and I had to close the account on April 14th.  But there was no withdrawal in the amount I owed and the bank will not allow anymore withdrawals because it is a locked account.  Do I need to file an amended return or send the IRS a check from another account?

You can make your payment directly to the IRS at Paying Your Taxes- do not amend your tax return.
