Have you already filed your tax return? If you have and it has been accepted you won't be able to change your direct deposit information. If the account was incorrect or closed the government will mail you a paper check.
If you have not e-filed or mailed your tax return already you can change how you want to receive your refund, go to the "File" section and enter/review/update to make the change:
Hello! Thank you for your response! I have NOT filed my tax return yet. I know about the steps to change my direct deposit. However, I'm currently stuck at "Revisit" part in File tab. Basically, there is NO action at all when I clicked "Revisit". Like, the page doesn't change at all. The page blinked for a second after I pressed
"Revisit", but the page stayed the same, sort of like clicking a "Refresh" button or something.
I'm a Mac user, so at first, I thought it had something with Safari that couldn't load the page or something, so I tried using Windows, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, but the page/website just doesn't change at all when I clicked "Revisit". Nothing happened, so I'm not sure what's going on. Again, thanks for helping me.
