I want a refund and never want to use your service ever again. Why is it that I make a minor mistake and I could not go back to correct until I finished filing and paid?

Gave me a 2044 form by accident and wouldn't let me delete it until I filed, paid, printed then went into tools but was only allowed to amend

If you were having a problem with a form, you could have sought help in the user forum before you filed.  We could have helped with that.   There are no other posts in the user forum under your username.   Going forward---ask for help before you file.

it is doubtful that they will provide a refund if you already filed---but you can try.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

It is not really clear from your post whether you actually e-filed.   You went back and tried to fix it but were struggling with "amend?'   Was the form you were trying to remove the one for the childcare credit---Form 2441?  If you have not filed yet, click on Add a State.  You do not really have to add a state, but that trick will allow you to go back in to make changes if you have not filed.

I hear your frustration and I'm concerned.

• Did you actually submit your tax return to tile it?
  • Does it say 
    • Processing
    • Rejected, or
    • Approved
• If it doesn't say any of those things, I don't think you've filed yet.
• What form did you post that you think is incorrect?
• You should not have any 2024 tax information until next year.
