Not sure what you mean by "follow through"----After you file your tax return TurboTax gets no information from the IRS. The IRS does not and will not tell TurboTax anything about your tax return.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
You did not pay TurboTax to "follow through" with your taxes. That is not a service that TurboTax offers. You paid TurboTax to let you use their software to prepare your tax return and send it to the IRS. After that, TurboTax is finished and it's between you and the IRS. See the reply from xmasbaby0 above for information on how to check the status of your refund.
Your tax return is the form you send to the government that shows your income and calculates your tax. The money the government sends back to you is your refund. You don't receive your tax return. You send your tax return to the IRS. You (eventually) receive your refund.
