I paid my federal taxes when i efiled my 1040. I just filed an amendment and got a refund. Do I need to mail in the payment voucher that turbotax provided?

The payment voucher is for the original paid amount minus the small refund from the amendment. but since i already paid, and the refund amount will be mailed to me, why would i need to send the voucher in?

No.  Ignore the 1040V.  As you see, That is for the original return or what the original return would have been if it didn’t need correcting.

if you pay, or paid already, online or by direct debit, discard that voucher.
