If you have not filed yet, you can go back and fix what needs to be fixed. However, if you have already filed, you would need to wait until your return has been Accepted or Rejected to fix the error. For more information on how to fix a rejected return, please see the FAQ below:

Once a tax return has been filed it cannot be changed, canceled or retrieved

You will have to wait for the IRS to start accepting or rejecting 2020 tax returns on February 12, 2021
If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again.
If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS, it cannot be e-filed. The IRS will take up to 16 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

To complete and file a 2019 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2019 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2019 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

Yeah I put some wrong numbers in the wrong spots I need to redo my taxes I already submitted so can I just redo them all together on accident

I completed mi taxes but did not e-file or mail. (error or 1099-div). I tried to work around and mail the return. but then forgot a 1099-misc. and amended the taxes but did not -mail. not I cannot go back to the original and add form 1099-misc.

I would like to restart the whole @$#? process and start again.
