I mailed my 2020 tax return since last Feb. 3,2020. I already received my Federal return but not the States. Been waiting my CA State return, more than 2 mons. Why?

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

Did you mail your CA state return in a separate envelope?  They are probably taking longer to process mailed returns.  Does it show up on CA website?

Hello, 

Can anybody help me?

I mailed my CA tax return to Franchise Tax Board in Sacramento,  PO Box 942840, Sacramento, CA [social security number removed] last Feb. 3.. I checked every time but it never arrived ! It was a Priority mail. Been 4 months!

I mailed again (copy) , by Priority mail , on June 2 ,and today it's June 10, it has been 8 days and it hasn't arrived to its destination again! When it's arrival date was on June 6.

What is going on? I am owed a refund. I already received my Federal refund, when usually I get the CA first.

Is there any option to file it online using Turbo Tax, where I usually do my tax filing?

You cannot efile the state if you mailed in the federal return ... did you mail it to the correct address ?  Either way you may not get any confirmation of delivery back :

Regular mail : 

You can  mail income tax  forms to the Franchise Tax Board, PO Box 942840, Sacramento, CA 94240-0001, if no balance is due or you're owed a refund.

Private express mail/Overnight delivery:

Overnight your tax return using a private express service, such as FedEx.
