The IRS probably Accepted (received for processing) your return a month ago, but they did not start processing until Feb 12.  Approved is a later step.  The IRS goal for that is 21 days, but it's taking longer this year, in part because of all the stimulus filings. Only the IRS controls the timing..  Also see:
