You can save your return as a pdf file when viewing the return within Turbo Tax. I am including this FAQ to assist in saving your return as a pdf from Turbo Tax.
This will not work for me. First, there is no "Tax tools"on the left, only "tax home". Second, there are several places on the screen that say "download/print as pdf" but when I click on them, they download as .txt. No matter which link I click on, it gives me txt. I know my adobe works because I have downloaded things as pdf from other sites within the last hour!
Are you using a MAC?
No, Acer Intel core i5

Using an Edge web browser? Rename the file extension from .txt to .pdf
I did that, and when it still didn't work (it wouldn't let my change my file type to anything but text) I downloaded Adobe and change that to my default pdf program and tried again. Still nothing!
Try a Chrome Browser and Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
Follow the instructions in the FAQ below to access prior year returns. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/00/270...
