Hello why can I not check my federal tax on irs app

If you are trying to check your refund status and there isn't any information being reported, the IRS site may not have updatd since your return has been accepted by the IRS. This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few hours to 3 weeks to update.

If you are having issues with the app itself, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

What is the status of your tax return?  Sign onto your online account and the status will be displayed - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
