You must wait for your return to be processed.  The IRS has not published guidance on handling a misstatement of stimulus amounts on the 2020 tax returns.  You are not alone.  Due to the timing of the stimulus payments and the tax filing season, this is a very common occurrence.  The IRS may catch the mistake and make the corrections.

If your return should be rejected for some reason, it will be returned to you.  You can make any and all corrections before resubmitting.
