Has anyone received their state before their federal?

I filed both federal/state on 2/12/2021. My federal was accepted on 2/13/2021 and my state was accepted on 2/16/2021. I received my state refund today (2/27/2021) but have yet to receive my federal and the IRS website is at a standstill. Is anybody currently going through this? Is there a way to find out the payment date for my federal refund?

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 34of your 2020 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

I did-yesterday. This is the first time I have ever received my state refund before the federal. Doesn’t make sense
