Re: Federal refund

I filed our 1040 on April 14th expecting a refund of $1,526. As of today, 6/17/21, our filing is still pending. That is 9 weeks since we've filed and no communication from the IRS saying there's a problem with our return.

I loaded up our return in Turbo Tax, at which time there were updates made to the program. At any rate, when our account was loaded up, it states that our Federal tax refund is now $2,096 not $1,526. When I uploaded the return on Turbo Tax to see why there is a change, the return is exactly the same one I originally filed and the refund is $1,526.

So, can you tell me why our filing is taking so long to process? Did Turbo tax amend our filing and re-submit it?
