Efiled my taxes without ippin

I  efiled my taxes just now without ippin and it got rejected. Can i re file my tax return now with ippin?

Of course ... log in and enter the IP PIN then complete the FILE tab again to resubmit the return....

If you have a 6-digit IP PIN to enter, here's where to enter it.

• FEDERAL TAXES tab. (or Personal tab in Home and Business)
• Then sub tab "Other Tax Situations."
• Scroll down to "Other Return Info".
• Find subtopic "Identity Protection PIN", and click START.

i was rejected on my return saying i didnt enter my ippin correct but i never recieved a letter from irs with a ippin so what do i do i called the number to get one but it keeps telling me to call back on another business day

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue IP PINs and you won't find them on your tax paperwork. You can only get IP PINs from the IRS by following these instructions.

If you have your  IP PIN now, but forgot it before you submitted your return, your tax return will be rejected. You will have the chance to enter it into your return after the rejection.

I have a letter # 6167C there is a Control number [phone number removed]99. the only 6 digit # I see is [removed number].
