The 2020 federal amended tax return, Form 1040-X, was updated on all TurboTax editions, online and desktop, on 03/26.

An amended return, Form 1040X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 16 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

See this TurboTax support FAQ on amending a tax return originally completed and filed using the 2020 TurboTax editions - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/amending/help/how-do-i-amend-my-return/01/27439

So for some reason when I sign in and try to amend it because I recieve unemployment it is saying I can't amend it and to come back at a later time as they are trying to set up state parameters,  I just want to know when I can fix it 😭

The IRS has requested that you do not amend the 2020 federal tax return for unemployment or the exclusion until the IRS has issued further guidance.   They have not yet issued any timeframe for when this will happen.  Assume it will be in the next few weeks.
