Direct Deposit/stimulus check

Hi, I did my husband and I's 2019 taxes last week and we were accepted on both federal and state, at no point was I asked for direct deposit info, is this why we haven't received our stimulus check? If so, how do we remedy that?

Direct Deposit/stimulus check

It depends. If you see no details for direct deposit on page 2 of your Form 1040, then this could be updated by going to: IRS: Economic Impact Payment Get My Payment Resource

 

The stimulus checks are not fully distributed yet. The IRS estimates it will take through the first week of May for the taxpayers that have already filed and qualify for a stimulus check. To check if you qualify, please see: IRS: Economic Impact Payment Information Center
