Only you can check the status of the federal tax refund on the IRS website.  Look at your Form 1040 Line 34 for the amount of the refund.

You can always sign in to your TurboTax account, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and on the section Your tax return & documents, click on Show. Click on the Year and it should show your whole refund amount there.

If it's for the year 2021, when you log in, it should be the first thing that shows up on your home screen as well.

To track your refund, make sure to enter the federal amount without the state refund, less any TurboTax fees if you chose to pay any fees out of the refund.

@Lorettamea1 No one else has access to your tax returns.   You need to look at them yourself.  Your federal refund will be on line 35a of your Form 1040.  State returns are all different so you need to look yours over and find it---most likely somewhere near the bottom of the page.

@lazardmarshall No one has access to your tax return.   You are the only one who can access your own tax return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Open your TT account and look at your tax return.  Since you lost the paperwork, be on the lookout for identity theft.
