Can I print my "2018 ... Individual Tax Return.tax2018" file using Turbo Tax 2019?

The 2018 tax data file, .tax2018, can only be opened by the TurboTax 2018 desktop software.  A PDF cannot be created using the tax data file alone.  To create a PDF you must open the tax data file with the 2018 software and then create the PDF.

Well that is kick in the pants; is it still possible to still download the 2018 software. I have other prior years, just no 2018.

If you purchased the 2018 software from TurboTax as a download you can sign onto your download account and download the installation file - https://shopping.turbotax.intuit.com/unified/downloads?route=myaccounts

If you purchased the 2018 software from TurboTax as a CD then contact TurboTax support and they can push a 2018 installation file to your download account for free - https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
