Once your return has been accepted (received) by the government, they take over the refund status update duties, since they hold the purse strings. The status in TurboTax will remain as "accepted."

Check the IRS Where's My Refund site for the latest word on your federal tax refund, and your state government's refund lookup service for your state’s status.

Does this IRS "Where's My Refund" tool say your funds have actually been sent?
http://www.irs.gov/Refunds

Were you having the refund direct deposited to your bank account directly ?

If the IRS has actually sent the funds, the IRS FAQ page says to allow "up to 5 days" due to variations in bank processing procedures and times.

If so did you enter the correct routing & account number for an ACH transfer ?  Here is how you can see your deposit information:

Your direct deposit information will be at the bottom of your Form 1040.

To view your 1040 after filing, Sign into TurboTax Taxes > Tax Timeline > Some other things you can do Download/print (.pdf)

Please see the following FAQ article below if you entered in the wrong bank account information.

Did you have the TT fees withheld from the federal refund and are getting the refund on the Turbo Tax Debit card?

If so the refund needs to go from the IRS to the third party bank to the card.  This process can take up to 3 business days or more.

Check the IRS :  https://www.irs.gov/Refunds

Check  SBTPG:  by logging into their website at:  https://cisc.sbtpg.com/

Or you can get 24-hour automated info by phone at:  https://cisc.sbtpg.com/contact.aspx

My return was accepted 1/27 and I checked irs.gov 2/16 and it now says my return is processing. Hopefully it will follow the prior year schedules and we should see our refunds this coming week. When I checked 2017 (Checked from my own deposits. I always file before they start to accept them) the release date was 2/23, 2018 release date 2/23, and 2019 refund release date was 2/22 and they have all been in the third full week of February even with President's Day being the Monday of each third week for each year. So that's my educated guess as to when we may see a deposit for those of us that have claimed the credits that delay returns.

Filed 1/23 for both state & federal.

1/27 Federal accepted

1/28 State accepted

I have used turbotax for the past 6 years. I claim the EITC. No bars reflecting in Irs.gov website and still sitting on state website with processing.  I usually have my state by now. Freaking out I just recently changed my last name to my martial name. I couldn't get my employer to give me the proper documentation so I can change my filing status. So all of 2019 year I was taxed as a single individual rather than a married individual.  I didn't make alot of income for the 2019 year. Definitely got taxed up the a-- for 2019. All my stuff is in "processing" mode. Idkwtf is going on. Never have had problems with my taxes this is the first year I am expecting a decent size refund. Filing in Colorado btw.

That's the site to check if your refund has been received by the third party vendor so they could get processing fees or the Refund Advance out of your refund. The site is below if needed.

Be on the look out for a letter from the IRS. I'm not sure of what it says exactly but that has also happened to my sister and when she gets off tonight we will check it out and try to resolve the issues.
