Are you the same person as the threadowner? The screen name is different.
Here's how to print a 2017 online return. Log in and at the Tax Home go to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents". Expand that section and choose 2017 (or whatever year you want to print). Then use the link "download/print the PDF."
If you don't find the past online return in that account, we can tell you how to look for multiple accounts.
If you find it, but when you try to download it, access is locked, and it asks you to pay to retrieve, we can tell you how to pay to unlock it, or how to get a free tax return transcript from the IRS.
Was your 2017 return prepared in desktop software (CD/download) or Online TurboTax? The tax data file ends in *.tax2017, and it's possible you also made a PDF.
In order to open and print from the *.tax2017 data file, you'll need to use 2017 desktop software.
Are you using Windows PC or Mac?

It was desktop software and I use a windows computer. I guess my question may be, how do I get a 2017 program. Apparently the one I had is no longer on the computer...

You haven't specifically said if you have searched your computer and can find the *.tax2017 data file or a 2017 PDF or not. In any case, I can tell you how to get the 2017 software replacement if you uninstalled it, but it won't do you any good unless you have the *.tax2017 data file. Did you purchase the software as a download from TurboTax? If so, it should still be in your online account and available for download at this link:
https://shopping.turbotax.intuit.com/app/downloads
Or did you purchase the 2017 software somewhere else last year, or did you buy a CD and can't find it? In those cases, you'd need to phone TurboTax Support and ask for a replacement download.
You can use the form at the link below to schedule a call back, or it may provide a number. Hours are 5AM-5PM Pacific (8AM-8PM Eastern) Monday-Friday.
Where the form asks what product you are using, be sure in the dropdown menu to indicate "CD/download" and the proper operating system, then indicate which Edition.

I never received my refund from the irs that turbo tax supposed to have turned in.
@Ruthie1 You are adding on to a question about how to print a 2017 return. You should have started your own new question.
What year Refund? Has the IRS sent the refund?
When did you efile? Was your return Accepted? You can check your efile status here
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.
Then only the IRS can tell you. IRS Where's my refund https://www.irs.gov/refunds/
Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual federal tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end. That was for federal and state combined.
When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. what does it say?
I need my tax returns I did for 2018

If your 2018 returns were prepared in Online TurboTax, log into your account and at the Tax Home scroll down and expand the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents". Choose the relevant tax year, and then click "Download/print the PDF." . If you can't find your 2018 return there, then you likely have multiple accounts and signed into the wrong one. Many people end up with multiple accounts without realizing it. Here's how to troubleshoot for multiple accounts (User IDs) :
You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes. A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be. It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.
To get a list of your User IDs and recover account access, you can use the tool at the link below. When using the Account Recovery tool, try using your phone number first. After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.
NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop. Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below. You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that on your phone number and email address(es) that you can access, here's another method:
Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, and choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.
I've been filing with TurboTax for years and now when I really need my 2017 return I can't find any of my returns under "Your Tax Returns & Documents."
Please help me? My became corrupt and I lost my tax papers when I moved.
Thanks!
Did you try the account recovery tool listed right above your post?
